The most concerning thing about our outs is that the spine of our rock solid defense of the last 4 years is gone.
For that period Sturt had the most miserly "against" and was a result of Marty Mattner's defensive plan.
We will get the ever reliable Guy Page back but he is not 6' 2"!
There is talk of re-tasking Fay-Sparks as a defender.
The forwards have not lost too much and gained a few lesser known names.
Riley is gone and he was one third of the engine room with Kirkwood and Battersby. Riley is a big loss as his inside bullocking work was second to none.
If things really get tight, maybe Michael Wundke could pull on the boots again. Hopefully under his tutelage we will learn how to kick straight.
Not sure how the catering van is going to cope with the increased demand.
