Conspiracy theories re stats

After decades of having the free kick count published it is no longer available, I can think of two reasons for this....

1, so umpires can’t publicly be criticised on public forums such as this one

2, so umpires can’t check their apps & change their interpretations after half time to “even up” the count

Not that any free kick count should be equal or close to it

Surely there isn’t any other reasons to the free kick count being unavailable ?

I'm assuming its due to the lopsided free kick count in last years prelim and subsequent comments made against the SANFL by Seb Guilhius...pretty pathetic if that's the case

I am agreeing with you Bayman. Something strange going on. Someone had a link to the frees the other day but I have forgotten where it was on website.
I'm hearing the free kick count from last night was Glenelg 35 AC 14. I would never print that.
The SANFL would not want that shown.

Free kicks can decide outcomes of games
Its a very important stat
I would like free kicks stats recorded

Does the free kick count include the last touch out of bounds free?

If you add up all of the individual player frees for/against, they don't tally up with the team totals there, perhaps due to the CD people not being able to determine who it was for/against

The AFL teams have a BIG differentials
