They had to lock the gates at Princes Park tonight for the first womens game.
Skill level was not great but what are we judging it on ?

the skill level is similar to a boys under 13 or 14's match..........however in time they'll get better & much better, just like the cricketers & other sports have

9,000 at Thebby today (in wet conditions) and 10,000 at Whitten Oval (in 30+ degree heat, albeit at night).
Standard is reasonable for an opening round, but it's been enjoyable to watch.

Seeing I don't watch kids footy in my house we thought some of the players equalled sanfl seconds players .
Saying to me Carlton were well trained and drilled .
Crows at the sacred ground of Thebarton were better than GWS
Saw the end of western Bulldogs game they looked well trained
Some of those players went in hard tackles and hit high

Reckon the AFL under estimated who'd go and watch
Think next year Vic games at Ethihad and money to get in .
The test will be in 3 years to see who goes .
Currently the fans like us here need footy to watch
