i've just read on snouts & have had it confirmed via a text message that Dom Barry is training with Glenelg, i made the comment he'd be great if committed after reading his wiki page (see below)............

It's just my belief, I hope I'm wrong. We've only named one recruit who will be handy. As for our reserves we've lost the majority of the next best Press, Batley, Raikiwasa etc and the under age kids Stengle and Cox.

as if i'm going to post on a forum who told me..............whether it happens or not is still very much in its infancy & i'd imagine the cost involved would come into it as well

that is how i read it Mickyj, anyway small forward originally from Port, then Glenelg & now ???? he has very good ability but his ''management'' over prices him & doesn't negotiate, just demands

My apologies bayman I didn't mean it the way you read my post .

I have heard a little about him since I posted thank you .
I have been told he was an Eagles junior not required went to
Port then Glenelg .
The only game I missed 2016 Eagles v Glenelg Woodville oval .
I've been told he played well and kept Glenelg in the game.

So that's every thing I've heard

In West's Annual Report, Mark Mickan has named as recruits ex-Norwood small man James Iannucci and ex-Glenelg mid Jacob Carger. Anyone from those clubs able to give us their views of these two?

Carger was a useful player that could get his own ball but could be a bit inconsistent with his disposal. I thought he had a lot of potential but was caught in a log jam of mid-sized midfielders who were "useful" without being game changing. I think he took a year off last year to play for Brighton.

was also a little overweight (for a league footballer) & was one in that ''imfamous club'' a few years ago
