We have zero tolerance for that sort of behaviour. As I'm sure do all other clubs and the vast majority of players.

Went to the pre-game lunch where Fab Phil Carman was interviewed.
When you listen to Fab's version of the Carberry incident, you almost feel he was justified giving him the nod!

Fab has a book coming out, so that should be an interesting read. I am sure the subject would be covered.

After all these years I managed to ask him about his other record. 32 "F's" during a three quarter time break when he was coaching the Blues back in the 90s. Back then you could get a lot closer to listen. It was like a primary school English lesson as he used it in all the grammatical contexts.

Anyway, Phil seemed unimpressed and just shook his head at my enquiry and said, he never swore. I must have had a blockage in my ears that day maybe.

I think the whole purpose of Unley Oval is just to inflict pain on the dwindling band of Bloods' tragics.

I survive only on the memory of Bruce Lindner kicking 5 goals in the last quarter in 1983 (?) to win that game for us.

I take out special trauma insurance every time we play there.

I'd still like to know how many were at Unley (West V Sturt) in '83, when I went along to see one of the contenders (along with N'wd?) that were going to be beaten by Westies in the Grand Final. Definitely standing room only.......!
