There was glimpses of the Centrals of the 2000's in today's win in what would be one of their best wins of 2015. They attacked the ball with incredible ferocity, took advantage of most of their chances in front of goal, and just about completely shut Norwood down (given 2 of Norwood's goals came from turnovers and another from a field umpire overrule).
Also, today was Centrals first ever Elimination Final win. Their first Semi Final win all those years ago ended Sturt's run of 5 flags, and their first Elimination Final win ends Norwood's run of 3 flags.

Well done Central.
I wonder if we've seen the last of Morwood playing that style?
It's served them brilliantly, but once Central got ahead, Norwood were never going to score readily enough.
I think the Legs will be looking to add pace to their squad.

That was a fair demolition of the last 3 years' premiers.
Throws the game open.

ROUND 10
Norwood 9-1
ROUND 19
Norwood 11-7
Injuries are an excuse of sorts towards the end of the season ?
Missing today
James Allan
Simon Phillips
Sam Baulderstone
Mitch Wilkins
Callum Bartlett
There were others that 'appeared' underdone today
Matthew Panos
Matt Suckling
Michael Newton
Add the the loss of so many players in the last 3 years to the 5 unavailable players and Norwood simply had run out of player options today
Norwood looked an ordinary team today , and at times during the 2nd half of the season
The Norwood game plan is always going to look ordinary or poor when the cattle is missing
I think what 2015 has shown , is just what a great effort 2014 was for Norwood`
When Ben Warren took over and lost about a dozen players in 2014, there was not much expectation , yet they won the flag
PS
Am I ever going to see a Norwood side beat a Roy Laird side in a SANFL final ?
Norwood 9-1
ROUND 19

i'm not sure about all the players named as injuries, i believe J. Allan was left out & they missed his outside run, well they didn't have any, did they ?
