Change of game

Are West now changing the way the game will be played ? The boring Norwood , Eagles and West under Collins era is not good at all . West seem to be attacking a lot more and seem focussed on scoring not defending. I think they may now force teams too attack more which means changing their game. Good to see .

They would still be focussed on defending, but it's clearly not the be all and end all anymore. It's great for footy, hopefully other clubs without the same level of intent to score introduce it over the off season.

If Westies are going to be the trend setter, I hope like hell that South follow their footsteps very soon as the way South are playing, scoring 10 goals a week is not going to win a premiership in the near future. Playing a smothering type of defence might keep the other team to a low score but if you cannot score more often than they do, then it's good bye nurse.
