TOO SEE WHAT CONDITION MY CONDITION WAS IN
In had 3 appointments today for various problems
I wont detail the problems , I asked a question to all 3 practitioners
" What is the best thing for my condition?"
All three said "weight loss"
Quite unkenny that

LIFESTYLE CHANGE
So tomorrow it all starts
I will start my weight at ZERO
I wont be on a diet, I will be on a lifestyle change
I will there4 weigh in at minus something, if successful

Along the weigh I will post my achievements

Scrappy have any of the GP's referred you to a dietitian ?
If you have anything like diabetes you can get 5 free visits from the government .
My life change may not work for the next person so my dietitian said . But I'm on low carb high protein low fat diet .
Never over do anything if your exercising
And never starve yourself
and dont get disappointed if you dont loose anything for awhile it will happen

All i can say as a person who can not control his eating and ive described myself like an alcoholic or drug addict .
You can only loose weight if you are ready to stop Scrappy i hit rock bottom june 30th 2014 .
My weight was recorded at 127 kilos but i know i was bigger .
Dont starve yourself
Eat what the dietitian says is healthy and resist bad food .
I had to turn down cake at a co workers 30 years celebration every one was trying to force it on me .they kept saying one piece wont hurt . but i know i cant stop at one slice .
You might be surprised at what you can eat

For the first 3 days it was a matter of transition from my rather typical Australian diet
The emphasis was to trade in iffy food options and incorporate healthier options

The game plan was to eat and juice anytime I was hungry
When eating , eating lowish calorie foods , and an increase of raw fruit and vegetables
Ive done this for 36 hours , gradually decreasing intake as I have progressed
I was eating 10 times a day on average

As of today its a fair dinkum week
The aim is for a quick fix
LOSE 2 calories by next Monday
All the while placing much more emphasis on the right food choices
Refined carbs -Junk Food- Fatty foods will be stopped or eaten in moderation

I have done plenty of reading , research, taken advice , and have included my medical practitioner in the process

Getting my mind on the job is going to prob be the secret of my success or my failure

Special thanks to Micky J for his advice

DUROMINE

Of all the things Ive tried for weight loss, this was the most successfull
I tried it a few decades ago , and it worked
My appetite was greatly reduced , I simply could not stomach a large meal
I felt like eating about 75% of what I usually did
In just 30 days I lost 6 kilos

The jury is out about Duromine
Some practitioners will not script you Duromine for whatever reasons , which I must respect
For me it acted like Speed
I was more energetic
I was so so so alert

SLEEP
Found it hard to sleep on Duromine
First took it in the evening, a BIG mistake
It was like having 10 cuppas of coffee, such was the potency for me
Next tried it at lunch time , still hard to sleep by bedtime
I had to take Duromine first thing in the mornings , by bed time it would usually have worn off
When I came off Duromine , I wanted to do nothing but sleep for the next 48 hours , it was akin to not sleeping for the previous 48 hours

YES OR NO ?
Short term fix, maybe yes but more so  for the overly obese
Long term ?
I think you still need a practitioners prescription to get Duromine ?

Almost 2 weeks in
-2.5

I must emphasise, this is not a diet for me, but a lifestyle eating change
Im doing this for my overall health, the weight loss will be the bonus
Ive been good, very occasionally cheating

H20 THE WAY TO GO
Its almost zero tolerance for me , nothing but water
Ive had one diet coke , only because the place I visited drinks tap water
Apart from water I juice up vegetable juices
Todays vegetable juice is prob a combination no one else on the planet would have today
THE JUICE
Carrot
Celery
Beetroot
Apple
Flaxseed Oil
Cherry Juice
Tumeric powder
Vit C powder
Ginger

That line up as as good as the New South Wales SS team when the Test players are available!
Each food type designed to alkaline the body , to improve the immune system ,and along the way flush out toxins

TODAYS BREAKFAST
2 organic dried figs, no sulphur
The above juice
2 slices of  rye bread with avacado
2 eggs
1 large glass of water

www.8700.com.au/kj-explained/your-ideal-figure/

Heres a chart where you can see what your Kilojuole intake should be to lose 0.5 kilos a week

Thats what Im aiming for, a modest loss of 0.5 kilos per week
2 Kilos a month is attainable

Its interesting to see that for my weight for age
Light work and being lightly active as against heavy work and very active makes quite a difference in what a  kilojoule intake should be

I had a bad run in both royal adelaide and their rehab clinic at hampstead .
Supposedly i didnt eat for 11 days at royal adelaide even when an evil nurse yelled at me there lol so my adult kids said .
Hampstead i demanded a dietitian who i argued with they wanted me to eat stuff im only allowed small amounts and food im allergic to .
Dropped down to 88 kilos they wanted me to gain weight my retort was i was 127 kilos no thanks

Re-starting the diet today
The 2.5 kgs lost in October/November is back on after December , its not unusual for me.

Anyways
A new determination this year to lose 2 kilos per month
A total of 24 kilos for 2016 is the goal

How about this Grayate effort

2014 : 112kgs
NOW : below 72kgs

Labor politician Gary Gray has lost about 40 kgs after tummy surgery
However , he has made the following statement
" To be frank, to remove 85% of a completely healthy organ, its not a sensible thing to do...."

+3.5 STARTING APRIL
Weight loss has gone unsplendidly since I attempted in October 2015

Now into calorie counting
Been keeping charts since 1/4/2016 , foolproof I hope

APPROXIMATE CALORIES TO WEIGHT LOSS
www.calculator.net/calorie-calculator.html

Ive done the chart based on age and very little activity/exercise
Works out I need approximately this amount of calories per day
This to work out a weekly gain or break even or loss of weight

PER DAY FOR ONE WEEK [Scrappy only]
2830 to gain 2 pounds [0.90kg]
2330 to gain 1 pound  [0.45kg]
1830 break even
1330 to lose 1 pound [0.45 kg]
830 to lose 2 pounds [0.90kg]

1 cup of BIRD seed = about 380 calories ?
BIRDs would burn up the calories quite rapidly as they fly around a fair bit

Ive not tried BIRD seed
What it would taste like ?
