Beau Waters
Just read that West Coast's Beau Waters is likely to announce his retirement, after continuing shoulder injuries.
He's been one of those tough, genuine players who gave everything on the field and never shirked a contest.
He was drafted from Westies about the same time as Adam Cooney, I think.
I remember him getting a knock in a league game at Noarlunga. I was Head Trainer and checked him out and told him he should come off to be checked. "Nah, Lee, I'm OK", he said and played on for a while, taking a hanger soon after. We eventually got him off for the doctor to check him.
Fractured jaw.
All the best to Beau, an absolute example of all that is good about football.

Re: Beau Waters
History is littered with blokes like Beau unfortunately, all the ability in the world but just can't stay on the park.
Good luck to him in life after footy.
