The recruit
Was just watching the new show on fox 8 calec the recruit and was surprised to see north adelaides Toby Schulz and Centrals johann Wagner.
Wagner has made it into the recruit team and will now compete against 13 other team mates to take the prize of being drafted

without trying to spoil the applecart, i'll tip he didn't make it seeing he was an 'in' a while back for Central & next to that it said ''from reality tv'' (or words to that effect)

I have it on pretty good authority that Wagner goes quite deep into the competition. He was away from Central, filming in Melbourne, for at least a 6 week period, if not more. Kicked 8 goals in the game shown tonight.

I haven't seen any of this - but can someone advise which team has agreed to draft the winner of this thing?

That will be revealed in the final episode, which is supposedly involving a club 'drafting' the winning player on a category B rookie contract.

Re: The recruit
Anyone can but I believe if everyone passes on him Collingwood will take him.
FWIW.....what a load of crap.
Just as there's legitimate courses you can do to become a chef, there's pathways you go through to get drafted.

Not to mention that on similar concepts for other sports (cricket, soccer etc) no one has actually go on to have a successful career after being contracted for winning the show.
