Australia back in Davis Cup World Group

Did anyone know the World Group playoffs were on this weekend?

Anyway, they were, and in probably the lowest-key World Group playoff Australia has played in, they've defeated Poland 4-1 an are back in the World Group for the first time since 2007.

Yep, they were on 7 two starting about 11:00pm each night

I saw the little Screen pop up during the footy

i watched some of it

They did but the time difference was the reason I couldn't stay up--Far too late for me these days, but well done to the team to win the tie and get Australia back in the main draw where we belong.

The draw for next years Davis Cup has been released.

Australia has a tough one first up - an away tie against France.

A very tough draw but we wouldn't expect to be given an easy one seeing we have been out of the main draw for some time.

One question--does any one know if we drop that one do we drop out of the main draw again.
