There's a LP still around the traps
Bazz Plus Pilko
Day Trip To Victor
Made in 1980
The tracks are
Youve lost that lovin feelin
Volcano

Little white cloud
The great pretender
Falling in love
Crying

Some girls
No more smoking
Born to be alive
Day trip to bangor [victor]
Not a bad album

Re: Best Pubs, Nightclubs, Discos and More
Can anyone remember this band in the 80's that did great cover songs ?
They did the Adelaide circuit a fair bit in the 70-80's
They were named The Boys
Used to like going to wherever they performed

Here's one that Bayman will vouch for
Circa Bay Disco 1980s
I would approach young girls with dark hair and ask :
" Are you from Lebanon?"
" No,why?'
" Its just that you look like a Beirut girl."

if you can somehow organize a trip to Adelaide i would think you'd love it, only going on the basis that Glenelg had a couple of ''Bay Disco'' nights in the last few years, they sold out quickly & everyone seemed to be having a great night out, perhaps a few sore heads the next day though
Well Bayman- you were right- it was an awesome night- lots of old players there including Steve Jacquier, Des O'Dwyer, Romano Negri, Ian Dettmann, John Roberts, John Cummins, Garry Haylock to name a few. Music was good and the atmosphere was great- the club is thinking of having another one in the future. Also spoke with a guy called Tim, who used to play guitar in the band The Streets. Suffice to say I had fun!!

I would imagine those places would have been heavily attended in 1965 ?
Cinemas are ebbing south these days with low attendances[well the ones Ive been to in recent years]
TV + Videos a reason for the lowering of patrons
