7800 for 2 games on the same night is pretty good.

Re: Round 4 Live Scores
Not sure what happened to West's 100 point attacking game - seeing all 18 opposition players in the 50m arc wasn't real attractive. North's poor kicking lost them the game, and West took full advantage at the end with the rushed snap out of the pack that scored a point. Hanging in there is all you need to do, and they did.

Re: Round 4 Live Scores
What happened, MP, was that North put pressure on West and played better than them after the first quarter. The difference is just that West's skills deserted them under pressure and that meant they were locked in North's forward line for long periods.
There's no change of tactics from previous weeks. It would be silly for anyone to think West would say "we're smashing everyone with attacking football, so let's go defensive this week". It just comes down to pressure and skills.
Credit to West for fighting back from what looked a losing position. The ball was in West's forward line for almost the entire last 7 or 8 minutes and they kicked a couple of points and had another shot rushed away out of bounds. In that time, North had all their players backward of centre, bar 1. I took particular note.
I think West missed Rory Laird in particular and never seemed balanced last night. That's a credit to North, who showed their usual dash, but also showed they can pressure and work hard as well.
Another point about 'defensive' footy is that I thought North won several centre clearances all night and West often seemed to be starting from the full back line.
Brad Mangan played really well in defence.
As I said, North looked the better team most of the night, but Westies fought it out and got the point(s).
I think both sides will be right up there at the end of the year.

Fair enough RnB - and I think they will both be there - they both have a fighting "never give up" spirit.
