John Kosmina has quit Adelaide United citing a lack of trust and direction from management as the reason he has decided to leave.

For the last few weeks there just appeared to be a little tension between coach and people in charge.
I may be wrong but I got the impression that the coach had some problems with some players, Van Dyke's departure was a no brainer. A winner of the 2011 golden boot award and he couldn't make the side this year. Mad Mad Mad

I have a feeling there is too much power amongst the playing group.

This is the problem when you have a board that knows sweet FA about football.

Someone throws a tantrum and all of a sudden the r/ship with the coach changes, ultimately leading them to be sacked or quit.

Smells like the Rini Coolen departure all over again.

At least Aurelio Vidmar was right with his 'pissant' comments. Nothing's changed at Hindmarsh in the last 5 years.

Season over for United losing 2-1 to Brisbane Roar, never really recovered from the Kosmina sacking after starting the season on fire and struggling to make the finals in the end.

Far too many distractions and will need to regroup for next year. Very disappointing.

Went to see this just for something different. Good atmosphere I thought.
About 10,000 went along. Enjoyable night.

Not a lot of system to Adelaide's forward play until it was too late. The Reds goal was very late in the game and then they started to have a crack.

They need a coach from interstate or overseas IMO, but one with a bit more class than Coolen.

I hope that one failed international coach doesn't put them off hiring anyone outside of the Western Suburbs of Adelaide forever.
