Re: St Kilda
Chaos at the Saints!! Players do not want to be there, recruits dont want to go there and the coach gets the flick.
I can see them resuming their position in the bottom 4 for a number of years.
Tragedy for the fans that they didn't win one of their GF's as I reckon it will be a long time before they get another sniff of finals action.

Re: St Kilda
They pick their times 2 months after season end. Apparently 2 reviews since then, the last because the coach allegedly wasn't listening. Nup, don't buy it.
Watters is just another casualty to the machine. St Kilda make a habit of imploding every half a dozen years or so.
I am increasingly losing faith in footy club boards. Some act with integrity and foresight, others are reactionary and influenced by fans and players.
As we have seen with the Crows/Power reserves SANFL vote, few have the balls to vote what they believe is right. It is easy to follow trends or what the majority seem to want, but do they remain true to their beliefs. Sadly no, not anymore.
It is just go with the flow. And the SANFL commission played them all in this vein. How board members stand and deliver the spin on things like this, just shows they should be in politics.
Anybody still think Matt Benson resigned because things got too pressured? Of course that was part of it, but.......
I am just fed up of all the spin on these things. Are we all lemmings that just suck it up and carry on?
Maybe the clubs around footy think we are.
And that is why I am not going to contribute to any club's membership coffers next season.

They are a rabble.
There's just too many teams in one town. The AFL gave the opportunity for relocation to a few clubs a few years ago. When they refused they made their own Clubs, GWS & GC.
You'd have to think there will be moves to relocate or merge imminent. They had their chance, they failed to take it. Now time to force their hand.

Whisper is that the AFL are looking to move them to NZ permanently. IMO they'll be the next club to fold or be relocated.
Most of the other Vic clubs have stabilised and stabilised themselves well.

Saint Nick is awesome, carried the club for 2 wins so far which almost may be enough to avoid the spoon.
