Who is more deserving - South Adelaide or Port Adelaide (AFL)

Based on how each teams season has gone, who do you think is more deserving of a game on the MCG?

South play their Foxtel Cup game there this week and Port don't get a game there for a while.

My vote would go to South as presently Port Adelaide (AFL) are a disgrace to SA football.

Unbelieveble that I am dignifying this with a response, but it simply can't go without some reply.

South Adelaide have done nothing, nothing of note since 1964, probably long before many of us were born.

Port Adelaide, you say, are a disgrace to SA football. Surely any team that has gone nearly 50 years without a premiership has more to be ashamed about?

I take your point about South not being successful since 1964, but I am basing it on what has occurred this season.

South are on a local stage. Port left the sanfl comp and are nationally exposed.... It's what port wanted as they saw they were too good for the sanfl comp and believed they were best suited to joined the afl. South did not.
