Ask Adelaide Hawk! :)
Since I have only got a few Football Times Year books - namely 1978-80, 1983, 1991-93, along with the 1994 Year Book, and the players list does not indicate when each players' career went for, do you have the first name for the following South players (year played in brackets)
Harris (1983)
Fuller (1984)
Ryan (1985)
Shaw (1985)
Hall (1985)
Richardson (1986)
Also, which years did Bradley and Clayton Perks play for South?

Darren Harris - played 51 games, 28 goals for North Melbourne 1986-1991
Grant Fuller
Paul Ryan
Rick Shaw - I think his first name may have been Richard, but everyone called him Rick.
Robert Hall
David Richardson
I always thought "Rick Shaw" was one of those classic names
Clayton Perks played in 1985 & 1989
Bradley Perks played in 1987 & 1988

Not the only time they've negotiated contracts with a couple of Perks.

Best known for his after the siren goal against Port at Adelaide Oval to win the game in 1984. Was watching on TV that day and it was a grandstand finish to a great game.
The kick's length grows at the same rate as Malcolm Blight's torpedo to win after the siren at Arden Street, but I'd say it was a 60m kick.

And the ball was passed to him by none other than Russell Ebert

And the previous day, it was Graeme Allan who passed Simon Beasley!
Then the following week, Mark Mickan won the match for West against Norwood with another kick after the siren.
I actually thought it would have been another Harris - Round 1 was the only premiership match he played in 1983 and did not play another until Round 7 1984 (according to my records, anyway). Three weeks later, he became a hero and into folklore.

Definitely Darren Harris in round 1 1983. He may not have played much league that year because he would have only been around 16 or 17 at the time.

I remember both the Harris/Ebert and the Collingwood one well.
I think, but am not sure, that Greg Phillips was involved in the passage of play that resulted in that Footscray goal.
