Magarey Medal 2018 who wins ?

From the games I’ve witnessed I think that M. Grigg or N. Liddle would win it...

A league player asked me if anyone was betting on it & I said no I don’t think so & he said to me if there is I’d be having something on Liddle if I were you

Nick Liddle my tip also, from Mitch Grigg and James Boyd.

Like most people on here, I wouldn’t see enough of the opposition to know. Grigg should top Norwood’s count with Panos not far away. Most pundits seem to think Liddle and i must admit, I wouldn’t be at all upset to see him win it.

Given the family trauma Griggy has faced this year, would be stoked to see him win it.

James Boyd

Grigg and Panos will take votes off each other as will Cross and Liddle.

The media normally know and Liddle is the player they have been spruiking

Was a close finish but after Channel 7 absolutely laboured through the night with carpool karaoke, they flashed through the final few rounds in about 60 seconds and bam, we had a winner with no real build up. It was pretty hard to keep up with who was actually in front and who needed what in the final few rounds to get on top.

Joel Cross has polled consistently against Glenelg through his career and scored votes tonight against them at least once. Do you have records of how many of his career games against them have been vote matches, please?

Hey CK, I know Crossy has polled 94 votes in 149 home and away matches but I don't have round-by-round data for 2013 and 2016 handy.

For seasons I can see at the moment (2011, 2012, 2014, 2015, 2017, 2018), he's polled 16 votes against Glenelg and gathered votes in 7 of 14 matches.

I would hazard a guess that he polled votes in no less than 2 of 5 matches against Glenelg that I don't have data for in 2013 and 2016.

Congratulations to Grigg, might get some interest from an AFL club as a mature recruit. Carpool karaoke was a bit lame, would have preferred some more time on the games.

Think a coach or peer voted award, whilst less prestigious, is probably more accurate (not that Im knocking Mitch, everyone knows he's a gun, as are all of the top 10 from last night).
