Re: Ins and Outs 2018
I said it recently, I think players get less than what most think that they get, I also think that when courted the first impression is crucial & as Scrunch mentioned a week or so ago that a job is a big help too, for whatever reason young Talia chose Norwood I say good luck to him, obviously not every player who talks to a club ends up signing to play with them

Re: Ins and Outs 2018
I think Norwood, money aside would be a fairly attractive club at the moment. Seem financially stable and progressing with the Club facility suggests progress. Obviously earnings through football and other employment certainly feature in the equation, not suggesting otherwise, but if that arrangement is near enough sometimes those other things (along with friendships with players already at the club) can go a fair way.

Finished with SANFL all together. Will most likely head back home to Melbourne.
Heading to Hills League with Luke Durdin by the looks. Another worry for SANFL that so many players still very capable of league are heading away.

Re: Ins and Outs 2018
Who could blame them ettg? They sold the soul of the competition & the clubs a few years ago (leaving Central & South out) plus the cash is better on most occasions

Robbie Young has signed with North joining Allmond and Tropeano as experienced recruits.

Likely to be West, but possibly WWT I'm hearing. As much as I'd love my own club to grab a star like Beechy, for mine it would be disappointing if he played anywhere other than with the Bloods next season.

Fair point, Scrunch, I felt the same about Keegan Brooksby with South.

Not having a go at Scrunch or any West fans .
But the Eagles keep being brought up as the boggey man in recruiting
I’ve seen everything online on who the Eagles allegedly are chasing to recruit .
Honestly I have no clue who if anyone the Eagles are actually chasing
I’ve seen on another footy page and this one Seb being mentioned coming back to the SANFL the other site said it’s a done deal for yesterday not a word nothing
Who keeps feeding fans this done deal rubbish
And are the eagles chasing Beech no idea
But as I’ve learnt no good stressing over nothing
Until it’s a fact he’s a westies player imho

I think you’ll find Beech is having discussions with a leafy suburb based sanfl club

Ok, perhaps then it’s two leafy based suburbs with an sanfl in its precinct, my tip is he’ll end up near Weigall oval

I’ll post the email of any players the Eagles sign
If they are still chasing players
I have no idea safer that way lol

Re: Ins and Outs 2018
Mucky - The SANFL circle isn't as big as it once was, so quite a lot of everyday supporters get mail from people directly at clubs or close enough to them. Usually it's around the mark, sometimes it's wrong due to changes in offers or players having a change of heart and every now and then (rarely) it's just incorrect from the get go.
All clubs would be derelict in their duty if they weren't chasing quality recruits, so there's no issue with it. In the case of your club you would imagine they have a bit of cap space given departures of recent seasons so it's no knock on them to go after any guns that might be available with the right offer.

Let’s just say nothing Beech in this sentence or post .
On another site I’m reading it’s a done deal former eagle player and ex bulldog player (mentioned on this site to be coming back to the sanfl ) it’s a done deal to being signed by the eagles . Those close to the Eagles not likely
But this person says he has messages saying he is .
I’m not saying the Eagles aren’t
But until the Eagles come out and say Mickyj or Scrunch have signed as players then it’s just talk .
Heck for all I know they maybe chasing everyone but I don’t know

That's the nature of the beast in the off-season Micky, and as I said all clubs are subjected to these whispers. I know the site and poster you're referring to, and I would be surprised if he/she wasn't telling the truth.

What I’ve heard by a much closer to the club is not the same info on the same player
That’s all
Beech no clue on
As we like to say it’s the silly season
