Do you like split rounds?
Split rounds
I have a strong dislike for split rounds .
I only just recently realised that the first round of the AFL is as such.
Furthermore - Did I miss something - is there a particular reason why only 2 teams are playing this week?
What are your thoughts on split rounds - have added a poll

Re: Split rounds
They split this round because they wanted the first game of the GWS to up in lights.
Personally I think watching GWS get flogged by Sydney will be a PR disaster.

Re: Split rounds
Not really a 'up in lights' game to have is it.
If they were going to 'feature' a game maybe they should have programmed a replay of last years grandfinal teams or something.
Either way - I don't like split rounds !!...lol.
They're only just bareable with teams split down the middle - but to have 2 teams this week and the rest next ... no, no, no..lol.
Ooops - rant over

Re: Split rounds
In years past there was a week off in the week between the GF of the NAB Cup and R1 of the season, this year we have one game in that "week off" so it doesn't really change anything at all
