It was interesting to read today that the Julian Burton Burns Trust has paid for a new gym for children that have been burn victims to built into the WCH.
Reflecting on what Julian Burton personally went through, along with the rest of the Sturt FC and everyone else at that time and to now see things like this being able to be done, by people committed to turning hatred into positive things in our society is a great thing. Good luck to them with it, I do hope they are able to use it to get help for a number of chilldren down there in the recovery unit.
If you support a charity with a portion of your tax return the Julian Burton Burns Trust is a great charity to give help to.
A special gym to help children recovering from burns is to be opened at Adelaide's Women's and Children's Hospital.
The gym includes a rock-climbing wall, Pilates and stretching equipment, exercise bikes and other equipment and has been funded by the Julian Burton Burns Trust.
The trust says the 450 children who present to the hospital each year with a burn-related injury will be able to access the gym which opens on Wednesday.
