Re: Round 17 stuff
Hawks, Geelong, North, Gold Coast ( with a question mark ), Sydney ( in a massive blow out ), West Coast ( As Brisbane have no talls ), Port, Collingwood/Essendon a genuine 50/50 with no Watson or Goddard for the Bombers and Collingwood smarting from a loss to the Suns last week, Fremantle might keep GWS scoreless.

Hawthorn won by 12 points.
Strange game, Adelaide had probably the best 4 or 5 players on the ground.

Re: Round 17 stuff
Unfortunately, they also had the worst six.
It was a pretty good effort and Dangerfield and Crouch were outstanding.
Some of their lesser players make some dumb decisions, though and general panic sets in for a while.
Very good game to watch, though.

Re: Round 17 stuff
Brian Taylor appears to be in ALOT of hot water over his disgraceful homophobic remarks about Harry Taylor last night.
He's been pulled from 3AW's coverage of the Essendon v Collingwood match for a start
http://www.theage.com.au/afl/afl-news/3aw-pulls-brian-taylor-from-sunday-afl-call-over-channel-seven-poofter-comments-20140713-zt5wf.html
Frankly, if the AFL is serious about stamping out homophobia in the game, they should be compelling Channel 7/3AW to suspend Taylor until he a) completes an anti-homophobia course and b) undertakes a written understanding that one more comment out of turn and his media career is over.

Essendon beat Collingwood by 64 points.
re BT, the rest of them were laughing too. They should be treated the same.

I'd have to agree with that too - they were effectively condoning his behaviour.

Hard when you're in that situation and on the spot though. Sometime you let some nervous laughter out as a natural reaction when you hear something you can't quite believe was said.
I didn't hear the incident though.
Interestingly enough it was so good to hear Sandy Roberts commentating the Port game on Sunday, he's the voice of the footy of my childhood moreso that Bruce. I've never understood how he can't get a regular gig while other numpties like BT can.

Love Sandy Ginge- really enjoyed the commentary of the Port Richmond game for that reason.

Sandy Roberts calls for Fox TV, he left seven a few years back, I always liked him calling games as well but I do like Bruce calling, much rather hear those two before Taylor.

I watched the game through Fox Testy.
BT is an absolute knob of the highest order and would much rather listen to Sandy.
Dont mind listening to Bruce and Dennis, but I can understand how they come across as annoying to some.
Former players such as Jason Dunstall, Alistair Lynch and special comments from the likes of Ling, Mooney, Hall, Harley make for good viewing for mine. At the end of the day everyone has their preference- I think we can all agree that BT needs to be gone though.

St.Kilda champion Lenny Hayes is set to announce he will be retiring at seasons end.
A much admired footballer and favourite of mine, he will be missed by the Saints faithful and all football purists.
