Tassie Football
I read where the Tassie footy Commission or whatever official name they have, will now report to AFL house in Melbourne. Basically the same model as Qld, NSW, Vic etc.
The vibe as was reported is that Tassie clubs are happy enough with this and don't see any change emanating from the decision.
This seems to leave SA and WA as the only stand alone leagues now. Not quite sure about the NTFL.
Little by little the autonomy of State football disappears into the greater AFL 'good'.
It is sad enough that Tassie footy now lies in the hands of the officialdom on Melbourne.
That the clubs are happy with it is just perplexing.
Can you see any of our clubs allowing this? After the Power / Crows Reserves decision, I would be surprised at nothing.

Re: Tassie Football
There is so many things wrong with footy down here and none of it is the AFL's doing, trust me. I don't know where to begin to be honest, it really is shambolic.
