In 1955, Sturt were 9-2 and one game ahead of Port after Round 11.  They ended up in fourth after the minor round ahead of North on percentage.  
Not only the losses would have had everyone associated with Sturt tearing their hairs out, but also because they were leading at half or three quarter time in four out of the six losses.  Another match the scores were level at half time vs Torrens in Round 14.
