Rightly so. Whilst they'd be handy inclusions, I'm against having players who have missed seven eighths of the season play finals. Completely unfair to those who have slogged it out for most of the season IMO.

Rory Laird qualified? Doubt he would be allowed to play.

I agree with you HTWWW, we have performed well enough to get there without them, so go with what we have.

I can't see that happening. I like Laird a lot so no disrespect intended but Edwards had a lot more natural ability I think.

Yes that's a big call, but I've seen enough of Laird to say he's not too far behind in talent.

Tyson was one out of the box, though.

Edwards had that one quality in a footballer that can't be taught - composure. Had it in spades too.

Regardless of what level he reaches I do think Laird has a lengthy career at the top level ahead of him.

Think West should win today, but you can never underestimate a wounded Magpie.

Yes, today's game worries me, if Port are fired up about the whole Magpies deal.

I'm concerned about today too, really need to get off to a good start.

Is a big call about Laird but remember he is only 19 and he is playing so well. He has a lot of composure, pace and skill. Goes unnoticed on the ground but just does his job very well.
