Round 14: Gold Coast v Adelaide - Saturday 29 June @ Metricon Stadium
Both Gold Coast and Adelaide are coming off decent losses - Adelaide losing to Richmond at the MCG, and the Gold Coast losing to Essendon at Etihad Stadium.
The Gold Coast have never beaten Adelaide, while Adelaide have never lost at Metricon Stadium. Will this stat change on Saturday, with the Gold Coast having some decent form at home and Adelaide going nowhere fast.

i think & hope the Gold Coast win, with the bullying tactics going on with AFL reserves etc i hope both Port & Adelaide never win another flag

Gold Coast for me. They look like they've been playing better football from what I've seen.

If Adelaide serve up the same form of the past fortnight, they will lose.

Do you bring the AFL reserves debate up when doing the banking, ordering lunch etc?
Anywho.
I think the Suns might be too good for Adelaide. GC have shown how they run games out and their midfield has pressured better teams than Adelaide into mistakes.
GC 22 points.

I am tipping the Crows, yet should the Gold Coast win it, it would then be the time to begin raising some concern as to where the AFC are going for the rest of this season.

Good to see Riley finely get a run - he's just the type of player we need at the moment.
Agree with the Mackay dropping as well, yet another who has been very disappointing this year.
I don't really understand the Reilly inclusion - while he was dropped a couple of weeks back he didn't even play a game in the SANFL.

I presume they just thought he needed freshening up. That can help some players hal way through a year.
I'll tip the Crows for this one.

I can't understand how Riley has been overlooked for so long.
He is a clearance specialist - top of the sanfl.
Surely the tingles need some of that?
The other Reilly - bizarre really. 2 weeks off footy so he can lose weight? Fair dinkum, I just don't get what the afl version of footy is all about. Thank Christ I don't give a stuff about it!

Had the chance to go to the Power / Collingwood game tomorrow for free with 100 of my surf club mates.
Didn't take long to say no, the beer is overpriced.

Does losing 2kgs make that much difference?

Adelaide always, even though they still win, have trouble with the Suns. Think the Suns might get up by 11 points

Well I was reasonably happy with the effort yesterday. As Sando said after the match, there's still a long way to go but the even contribution from across the board was very encouraging.
Dangerfield is becoming a hell of a player. Whatever happens for the rest of the year, my seasons tickets are worth the price just to see him play.
Gee Laird, Riley & Crouch were all very good also.

Drop Dangerfield, Crouch and Laird back to their SANFL club.
Oh, I forgot, we hinder their development, don't we?

Agreed.
I'd hardly put Dangerfield & Crouch's development down to their time at West. I think they had a fair bit sorted out before then.

Agreed, it was tongue-in-cheek so they could help Westies win the flag.
Obviously they won't be dropped, they were all excellent against Gold Coast.

No, it was another shot in the endless thread-clogging anti-AFL reserves debate.
