It is with much sadness that I advise another poster from Talking Footy SA has sadly passed away...

North Adelaide official and passionate Roosters fan Dennis Burchett (aka Mongrel Punter) tragically passed, unexpectedly, on Monday morning...

Any North Adelaide game I attended, Dennis and I would always stop and have a brief chat, generally about the umpires, but most things footy...

I was shocked and saddened to hear of this terrible news and my heart felt condolonces go out to his family, friends and the North Adelaide Football Club...

That is just so sad.  Dennis was a passionate Rooster's fan and added so much here with his knowledge and comments about his beloved North Adelaide.

Condolences to his family and all who knew him at Prospect Oval.

Just got back from overseas, so sorry to hear of his sudden passing.

I enjoyed his posts on this site, always written with a lot of thought and will miss them.  RIP
