Following similar topics, here's a place to discuss the most courageous players you've seen.
I'm motivated by saying that Ryan Ferguson is a strong contender from all the West players I've seen.

West Adelaide Captain Ryan Ferguson would certainly have to be the most courageous player I've seen in the SANFL over the last 10 years or so...

Whiteman from Sturt was known for his courage, in a similar way to Michael Wilson, who carried that trait into the AFL.
Bruce Lindsay never appeared to shirk a contest. Great player who I really admired.
From memory, Robbie McKinnon was quite a courageous Westies player.
Peter Crerar was only a fringe player with Port, but went in very hard.
Stephen Curtis in the mid/late 80's with Port.
Chris McDermott at the Bays. Tony Hall too.
