South Australia’s only dual code racing venue will stage its next harness and greyhound meeting on Sunday April 7 starting at noon with the greyhounds kick starting the program interwoven with harness racing throughout the day.
With a race run every 20 minutes, the day will provide action packed excitement for on course patrons in addition to harness and greyhound fans at home as SKY Channel will beam the spectacular dual racing throughout Australia.
The aggressive and enthusiastic Greyhound Raceway committee has recently resurfaced their track which should see fast times recorded throughout the day. The harness track has been on fire for recent meetings and with fast mile-rates again expected, speed will be the key to the afternoon.
FREE ENTRY will make the day an affordable outing for the entire family while the on course tote and bookmakers, along with a country BBQ and full catering facilities, all provided by the local area, are added incentives to attend this special country extravaganza.
A face painter for the children in attendance throughout the afternoon as well as free draws and great prizes for patrons in addition to lucky stall prizes for the trainers, thanks to longtime supporter of our industry, David Hopkins, from Hopkins Saddlery and the Charm Shop in City Cross Arcade, should ensure a complete day for all.
