Watched an amazing doco on sbs last night about the intimidation, discrimination and basically torture of gay people in the usa in the 60s.

With confessions from those involved including police doctors etc.

Interviews with people involved in the riots that eventually happened when the police raided the Stonewall. A famous gay bar in NY.

Question is, should those be held accountable for the torture or therapy as it was called.

It always amazes me how the US goes on about "people's rights" and other countries hate them because the freedom of their people, yet they have continually breached peoples "freedom" and denied them their "rights"
