Spelly - Highest Numbers
Hi Spelly,
Hoping you can settle a spirited debate among colleagues.
To the best of your records, what is the highest guernsey number worn in a senior SANFL game, please and by whom?

INteresting question.
I think that Paul Koulouriotis wore a number in the 70's in a West game once.

Not answering your question CK, but my lad played primary school soccer a few years ago and there was another lad from St Peters who proudly strutted around with number 100 on his back.
I had to laugh.

I think a lad called Purchase had a few games for Westies wearing a guernsey number well into the 70s. This would have been 5 or 6 years ago.

I reckon Ben Grieger wore 72 or something like that when he debuted for West. I'll have to find a budget I have that has that in there
