Interesting drive home - some idiot was causing a scene in the middle of Churchill Rd. By the time I was driving past, he had traffic at a standstill, and the cops had to swerve in The Bill style to arrest him!

Was a very swift arrest though

Thankyou A Mum, stitches come out Friday and hope to be back to work Monday.

Awake at 4.30am walked to work Raining. Nice and dry in signalbox. Controlled train movements walked home. Picked kids up from school now relaxing.

Up at 4:00am to get to airport for 6:55 flight
Plane delayed more than two hours and they still decided to board us. Sat on plane right now. Onward flight cancelled due to air traffic control strike in Frankfurt so will have to see what happens when we finish 1st leg.

And I've not had a bloody smoke or a coffee in 3hrs 33mins

3 hours 37 mins. It took me 3 mins to find the damn emocicon thingys

I rode Kwaka up the driveway. For heaven’s sake, it’s such an easy mistake to make. I thought I was just parking in the garage
as usual, how was I to know she was gonna be out the front yawning.

I told the Crazy Creature the opening size looked identical, but that just seemed to make her angrier!
Honestly, there’s simply no way to communicate sensibly with some species.
Mind you, just between us, I reckon she’s going through ‘that time of the decade’.

What a weekend...

Saturday: Drive 3 hours to Launceston Airport to pick up our cat who's being flown in from Adelaide via Melbourne. Got a phone call to say he missed the connecting flight and won't be making it to Launceston today. He'll instead be flown to Sydney at Company HQ where he'll be looked after overnight. Have to drive back home 3 hours away sans cat.

Sunday: Driving back to Launceston as again he was to fly there via Melbourne from Sydney. Got another phone call in the car saying he's now missed his initial flight and won't be getting to Launceston at all. Not being able to pick him up during the week, I tell them to fly him to Hobart, another 3 hours away from Launceston. Finally got the cat around dinner time and endure a 6 hour drive back home.

All in all, we travelled 1500km across Tasmania for one cat. The things we do for our animals sometimes!

Average so far. Mostly enjoyed the Opening Ceremony, but am developing a shocking headache. Hopefully it'll improve later once I go to have a nap for several hours this afternoon, and wake up in time - headache-free, hopefully - to see the beginning of the Olympic basketball matches, or swimming heats.

the last two days spent a fortune .firstly a tooth cut out after the first dentist took 20 minutes to tell me she couldn't get it out .After bupa cost me 224 I think for a surgeon to cut the tooth out .Took this guy 2 minutes no joke that included telling me what it would feel like lmao.
Yesterday I spent a heap on my first ever baitcasting set up .Only to go online and get told you can't lure fish for bream with that.Next person says yes you can .I'm confused lmao

I'll just say I don't get paid enough to do my job sometimes...

My day has been very long already.

Pretty much been up since 2:30am with a little daughter trying to push out teeth. The little buggers just won't come through.
