underlined words

in the last couple of weeks i've noticed words being underlined in posts, thread titles etc, as the mouse pointer thingnyabob touches one of these lines things come up with 'text enhance' prime slots....'text enhance' chat request (which includes a picture of a blonde)....'text enhance' i phone 4s.....etc etc

so i would presume it's best to ignore them (as i have) but is there any way of stopping them going on the page in the first place ?
