Not too many left from the Golden Years of Hollywood era.

Maybe only Olivia De Havilland who also was born in 1916.

Douglas was acting right up to 2008.
Anyone remember him in the Man From Snowy River (1982) the Ozzie flick with Tom Burlinson?

I think my fav Douglas movie was "Cast a Giant Shadow" 1966, about the formation of the state of Israel and its military forces that his character was put in charge of. He was raised as Jewish and in latter years practised this faith.

Scrappy, he was supposed to be in "Sands of Iwo Jima (1949) which went to John Wayne, but pulled out to make Champion.

Only 1 of his 90-odd movies was nominated for an Oscar.
