West V North

I think Westies biggest problem is their midfiled and has been for a number of years. Our ball use needs to improve and
our mids don't seem to get their hand on the ball enough. West need a couple Of Gun outside midfielders.

Schmidt, Ezard & N.Caruso can get their hand on the ball at stoppages however we need that good kicking outside midfielders that can distribute
correctly otherwise we will always struggle

I'll be surprised if Macreadie is selected next week. Two sloppy turnovers when he passed to the opposition while under no direct pressure resulted in goals to North.

Given that West had momentum on both occasions they were very costly errors.

I think one of the problems has been that most of the Reserves players who have been promoted haven't taken their chances. The players you mentioned have often only produced 4 or 5 touches a game.

Whether they should have been persevered with is another question, though.

That's why it was so good to see Rory Laird show so much in his first game.
