Been a long time since the Bays have downed the Eagles. This week presents a good opportunity but the Tigers will need to play four quarters rather then the two or three they have produced recently. Cant rely on outrunning the opposition in the last third of the game every week.

I’m afraid my Eagles are not playing as a team , more like a team of individuals. Plus I continue with my statement to old to short to slow .
Fans / members were rumbling yesterday are the players playing for the coach . Did the eagles go the wrong route . These are fans thoughts .
I posted this on the Eagles forum and some comments on a Facebook page
We are having a really bad year

Fantastic performance by the Bays. Started out strongly and outplayed the Eagles. Looked much cleaner with the ball and more desperate without it. Slackened off a bit in the last quarter but still managed to kick 6 goals. The most pleasing thing was the intensity shown by everybody for the game.
Eagles had a few too many passengers and one paced at times. Petrenko and Poole tried hard all day.

No I was there from 11 am what I found out now Glenelg will only open one gate not the rugless st ( spelling might be wrong ) Gate . I wasn’t the only fan walking a distance to get in .
Food venues don’t bother me I take subway in . However older fans told me there weren’t any food venues open when I posted . They didn’t open until 1/2 time of the seconds or 3/4 time . Some older fans weren’t happy .
So Fatty how long have Glenelg saved money by only opening one gate ?

I hijack the site ok that’s strangeSpecky wrote:I think most clubs have only one gate opened . They are usually SANFL manned so I dont think its a club decision . How many gates do Woodville have open. Probably be me my only post as you just hijack the site and abuse people .
Woodville has two gates open one on the grandstand side and one on the scoreboard side . I’ve also walked in through the car park gate at Woodville and been scanned in .
If that’s me abusing people admin will let me know.
My memory isn’t great but most of the gate attendants at Woodville appear to be eagles volunteers and the scoreboard attendant looks like a Woodville volunteer.

Glenelg have had only one gate for the whole season. It is a bloody nuisance as lots of people park on the Eastern side of the oval or catch the tram and now have to do an entire lap of the oval to get in. It is not only the older fans who aren't happy about it.

Thanks but to get to a tram it’s like walking 30 minutes to get into a gate .fatty wrote:if you get off the tram at brighton road you dont do a lap of the oval!
Trams aren’t exactly close to everyone In Adelaide
If I can’t drive I could catch a bus but they stop on jetty road or the pat longer walking
