New umpire signal
There is a new umpiring signal, the old thumbs up from both umpires to the centre square umpire to say there is 6 players in each of the designated areas

There was confusion for all...players, umpires and spectators....at Woodville today. Twice the new rule was invoked by someone, and no-one seemed to know what to do. It took a couple of conferences by the field umpires to work out what was to happen!!

That 3rd 1/4 took about 35 minutes. If umpiring is causing that then scrap the rule.
