You’ve shown commendable abstinence ‘bayman’.bayman wrote:so many lines there , but i think it's best to just wish him wellBig Phil wrote:Yep, he has an infected gashJunior2007 wrote:Is Eddy injured?
Sometimes it’s very hard to hold back when faced with such temptation.
But after all, it is a ‘holy’ weekend.

I haven't heard anything official, but as you say, word around the traps today is that Eagleton has apparently refused to play Reserves. If that's the case, I'm not sure how he's going to play league again unless he comes back through the Ressies.
My highlights for the afternoon:
The form of new recruits Cachia and Batsanis
The form of brilliant 16 year old James Aish
Simon Phillips' mark on the grandstand wing.
It was supposed to be a TV game today, but because it wasn't, we've missed capturing one of the great SANFL marks of all time.

Not all is lost AH, Adelaide AV record the games for the clubs to analyse afterwards and that mark would have been prety much in front of the camera mans spot.
Stay tuned to AdelaideNow early next week, it will feature on there NO DOUBT...
Was a spectacular mark and a great game from Phillips...
Boy does James Aish impress me, that kid is so calm under pressure and is the best 16 year old I've seen play SANFL League since Shannon Hurn for Central back in the mid 2000's.
He has great potential and will no doubt go on to make a very good AFL footballer...

Re: Round 3 - Norwood and Eagles at Norwood
If a player spits the dummy after getting a rest to find some form in the reserves....well, he is not worth being in the club. No individual is bigger than the club and well done Norwood for standing strong on their decision!!!

I must say, I was mystified how a team who was second to the ball all afternoon managed to win the free kick count 27-19.
