Associations to join/merge
i heard a whisper that two associations/leagues are looking/talking about a 'merger' & making it a bigger & more productive league, one is Metro South but i can't recall who the other one is, does anyone know or have heard anything about this ?

Apparently the SFL is looking at having a two tier competition.
not sure on the merger, unless the SFL will be more or less taken over.

SFL are not involved
Could it be the Metro South & Metro West Junior Leagues you heard?

It'd be a big league if the 2 did merge. Each club would only play each other once? How would it make it more productive?
I know PHOS was once part of Metro West before making the switch in 1999/2000?

These are junior comps we're talking about anyway, not sure of the reasons behind it but it may have something to do with the fact that some clubs are struggling to field teams in certain age groups, so the merge would, in effect, solve this problem.
