Micky j
Hi folks,
Unfortunately our colleague Micky j had a fall last week and suffered a head injury and has been in hospital since.
His daughter, Steph, has kept his Facebook friends updated on his condition, it does appear to be taking sometime for him to come good.
I trust I speak for everyone on here when I wish micky a full and speedy recovery and "tight lines" when he gets his lures back in the water.
I have passed on the best wishes of his "footy forum family" to Steph.
Best wishes Michael.

Re: Micky j
Just let you guys know I'm coming along very slowly .
Had two specialist appointments last week neurosurgeon showed me the first scan no wonder they thought id die. both this one and the ENT need me to have another scan before my march appointment . Seems either i do have broken bones behind my ear or they are cracked but what is certain i have a fluid bubble behind the ear drum . I am still get light headed head spins . And i can not say who calls me weekly and stresses me out i got the worst piercing head pain and missed the fact I had an ear bleed .
But hopefully theyve taken the message not to call me. Ive told doctors and therapists who are doing it and they refuse to accept I have to wait months for the doctor to send me back to work .
But one day when i can explain fully i will so much different things I'm told many about me are wrong .

Re: Micky j
Just a quick update I am getting there it's a very slow and steady thing .
My therapists still think it will be awhile until I return to work . I think they are or will tell my GP . Plus I'm having near falls dizzy heads eyes rolling stuff like that
But I'm having issues with an insurer and my lawyer is seeing to them does mean a bit .
Oh and wages have stopped except for 79 cents a week into my super .
I am made to wonder what does go on insurer told my lawyer no to workcover and they had sent me a letter . I heard that when I called my lawyer Tuesday its Thursday nope not a letter .
But from Tuesday two emails telling me they've helped me get back to work please fill in the survey . Lawyer said don't bother .
No idea how they think they've helped lol

One more thing
If I had attended a work Xmas party I would be covered by work cover
But I attended a work awards dinner both work and insurer are saying no need for me to be there so no work cover .
Does make me wonder my area of work 51 co workers 11 said yes to going so why is it not like being at a work Xmas party

Hey Bayman
It's gets stupider I can't say what yet but let's say I think .
But an example
Work called me politely say 1 get sickness benefits 2 your diabetes played up ( no it didn't lol )
Insurer think it's my diabetes
Is that a bit of one talking to the other
A report saying I was drunk hello I had 1 drink in 2014 am I drunk lol
And a letter sent from my work to the insurer saying I won't make a claim when I was in hospital
All I'll say is this smells fishy
And I can't say what I want yet
And yes I'm still getting dizzy my therapist taking me for a walk almost fell again lol

I would have thought the Privacy Act would allow you to access your personal information.
It is certainly clear on that score.
