I'm still in free fall from the decision personally.

Ba bow. Next.

Obvious troll is obvious.

Don't you dare go down that path with me calling me a troll.
I have been posting long enough on this site to know the rules and don't need you acting like some nazi telling me what I can post and what I can't
You are obviously a very serious person in life and can't take a bit of fun.

Then why are you following a topic about them? Pathetic to say the least but no doubt tolerable on here.

I am sorry for offending anyone with my comment, it was meant to be tongue in cheek, hence the smiley face.
I will refrain from trying to be a little light hearted in my future posts. cheers

Still hearing Clarkson. Surely too good to be true though that rumour.
Sumich also another reported in the paper today.

Surely to goodness they have their man lined up. Seriously, they can't be that poorly run that they would terminate a coach and fork out $1mil without having a replacement arranged??

Re: Adelaide's New Coach - Who?
I say it again - the more I hear about this situation the more I think the Club has done the right thing.
Externally a lot of people are judging the Club harshly for the actions they have taken, but internally it seems that all are united in the fact that it was the right decision. There has not been a single report of player or coach discontent over the Sanderson's dismissal.
This suggests to me that there is definitely more to the story, of which we might not know for many years.
After hearing him talk on the subject on 5AA last week as well, I am also very happy that new CEO Fagan will be heavily involved in the recruitment of the new coach. I think we will do well from having the opportunity to influence a key appointment like this so early in his role.
I know I am ever the optimist, but I feel like this pre-season is a 'line in the sand' moment for the Club and they are treating it as such.
It's easy to say that this is just the latest saga in a poorly run Club, and if that's what most people want to believe then good luck to them.
Personally though I am hoping this is the start of a new beginning for the AFC. Time to shed the clean cut corporate image and get down to the business of winning premierships.

I'd agree with you Ginge, if they had unveiled a ready made replacement immediately.
If they aren't able to get Clarkson, Worsfold or an established coach with a premiership back ground and end up with Dew, Burns ( who they could have had! ) or Sumich then it will reek of impulse decision making based on poor information.
Fagan, however, does look super impressive.
