Especially since 2 judges claimed to find 'gravel' in their fancy rice stuff served up by the SA girls...lol..
Agreed. The more I watch the show the more I realise how much it is edited for dramatic effect.
Same with the way it seems like they are struggling to plate up in time and then all of a sudden they're standing there having done it easily. Pretty sure they've chopped up the footage and overlayed it with dramatic music to build the tension most of the time.
or they do the masterchef where if the time runs out, then the contestant is still given an opportunity to tidy up the presentation

And it's an all-SA final with Nic and Rocco winning their semi-final by 1 point

Oh yeah
Now who do we want to win?
I think Nic and Rocco are very good cooks.
Wish they'd open a restaurant in Adelaide !!

Furthermore - did anyone see Today Tonight 'behind the scenes of MKR'
Megan and Andy - married recently.
Rocco and Emily in a relationship - she's even moving to Adelaide to live.
Manu has put on 10kg since the start of the season.
Helen put on 8kg.
'Princess' fell pregnant during the 'season'.
Wonder how much weight the crew put on..lol.

Congratulations to Leigh and Jennifer - with a phenomenal score of 58/60 are MKR champs in 2012.
For Rocco at least, he won the consolation prize - Carly.

Just couldn't understand how the girls could score ten out of ten from four judges when they left an element off there dessert. The white chocolate they were making got stuffed up twice and they decided to go without it.
During the preliminary rounds more than one couple left out elements to certain courses and they were marked down for it. Just like football, they must have changed the rules for the finals.

The difference was the white chocolate wasn't listed on the menu - it was an extra they were going to add. By not listing it, it meant that they got away with not putting it on the plate. The other difference was that the final was a 5 course meal and not the usual 3 course meal, which meant while they had to cook a hell of a lot more than normal, a mistake in one meal could easily be made up in another meal.
When the other teams didn't plate up items earlier in the show, they were listed on the menu, which is why they lost points for not plating up.

Perennial favourite The Price Is Right is set for a comeback. This time it will be Channel 7 producing the show with Larry Emdur to remain as host and John Deeks to return as announcer (who was the announcer the last time it was on 7 in the 1980's)
Ironically, it will be paired up with Deal or No Deal, the show that caused it's axing in 2005.

Spot on A Mum, but I think TPiR will actually work. Seems to be one of those shows that is popular for awhile, drops off, gets shelved for a couple of years, then comes back.

Just seems like they are running out of ideas. All you get from the USA is crime shows and from here you get reality programs.
What was the last western produced for tv that was any good ? We had wild boys here in Oz last year but that was short lived, taken of after about 8 or 10 weeks because lack of viewers, it was not one of the best.

Seemed quite good so will stick with it for now.

Must say I really enjoyed 'Beaconsfield' tonight.
Must have been absolutely horrific what those guys went through
I can't believe that Todd Russell went back down to the mine a week later to show his dad where he had been

Bit of a fall from grace for Nic and Rocco - they're becoming the face of Caffe Primo http://www.adelaidenow.com.au/entertainment/confidential/my-kitchen-rules-rocco-la-bella-and-nic-mazzone-sign-on-for-caffe-primo/story-e6fredq3-1226346255588

The Price is Right makes it's comeback on Channel 7 on Monday at 5:00pm.
Looks like Larry has brought many pricing game ideas from his trip to the Bob Barker Studio last year with quite a few pricing games set to make their Australian debut. While the old favourites like Cliff Hangers, Hole in One and Safe Crackers are back, we see Hi-Lo used in Australia for the first time (Hi-Lo has been used on the US version since the current run of the show started there in 1972), and arguably the most popular game on the US version Plinko will also be making it's Australian debut.

Channel 7 have destroyed the fabric of The Price is Right, and to be honest I'm amazed that Larry agreed to be a part of it. Ian Turpie would be spinning in his grave if he saw this great show stripped of it's dignity like it was tonight
It was like channel 7 were merely taking the **** out of the show, that's how bad it was. No contestants row, which means they have to use a contestants row as a 'tie breaker', and the focus seemed to be on how many crane camera shots, loud noises and booming announcements they could use in the shortest space of time.
Also, I can't see people wanting to go on the show if all they're going to win is something from Big W
The only saving grace of the show is the 40 second time limit they've now instilled to sorting out the Showcase.
