I'll be at Pinnaroo next weekend to see Peake take on Border Downs Tintinara in the Grand Final.

Long time since Peake have made it to the last game.

Pretty good game too, on the perfect surface of Pinnaroo Oval.

BDT won by 4 or 5 goals from a gallant Peake outfit, with former West Reserves player Patrick Barrett outstanding with 7 goals and looking well worth another crack at League footy.

A very good game from (14?) 15 yo Alex Stidiford playing in the senior Grand Final. Plenty of poise and skill.

There was a very good crowd attending for a great day of grassroots football, well run by Patrick O'Driscoll and Lou Boughen, the supremos of the Mallee League,

Thanks to them for inviting me to present the premiership medals in each grade.

Lovely day. Sunburnt. Long Drive. Good footy.
