The SANFL have issued comments on various rules.

Reading that, stand by for a cap on interchange numbers.

Although I don't have a problem with the current number of interchanges, I'd rather see them capped, than introduce a designated "substitute". Frankly I'm a bit of the old school, when it comes to mucking about with the rules. If it ain't obviously broken, then leave it alone. The game has managed quite well for over a century, without this current (Mainly AFL inspired) fad for "fine tuning".

If we are going to have a cap on interchange numbers going forward I think we need to increase the number of players to 22
