Yes or No to Good Friday footy?
Good Friday Football
Possibly an announcement tomorrow that the AFL will play Good Friday football next year.
There may even be a mention of the sides that will be playing this match.
You in favour of Good Friday footy?

Re: Good Friday Football
it has worked in the SANFL for a few years, Rugby & Rugby league are played, there is even racing in some parts of the world, movie theatres are open, so why not ? i understand the religious significance of the day but if it starts at the same time those others do then i can see no problem & i reckon the good Lord himself would be watching the footy closely if it was played, atm he is watching Rugby

Re: Good Friday Football
I remember when the uproar Of playing footy on a Sunday many years ago was frowned upon because of religious reasons and now many years on it is accepted Without a murmer.
As far as I am concerned playing on Good Friday was always on the cards as it Has been played in other codes for a number of years past.
