Today was the first time my little girl burst into tears when I left for work.

She looked at me as I closed the front door and I heard her start crying through it. Not fun.

Awwww - that always breaks your heart.

Mum propped her up against the window so she could wave goodbye as I drove off, very cute. Still a bit sad though. Might have to start sneaking off so she doesn't notice.

Well in all honesty I'd say nope don't do that....

Sounds harsh but my grandson's mum always says goodbye and gives him a kiss before she leaves - if he gets teary it's only for a few minutes at most - I think it's best to say goodbye than sneak off.

Personal opinion

Yes that's very true. I doubt I'd be able to walk out the door without giving her a kiss and and a cuddle anyway.

One of my favourite lovely elderly customers (and a die hard Crows fan) telling me today that the doctors have given him 6 to 12 months to live.

One of the occupational hazards of working in Victor Harbor unfortunately. I hope the Crows can get up this year for him.
