Dislike Vettel, Webber has followed team orders before and not passed Vettel when he had the faster car.
On a light note, did you see the driver pull into the wrong garage

Re: Grand Prix
i know they do it but if it was a horse race it would be called team racing & you'd be in serious trouble, so in that regard Vettel did the right thing, with Grand Prix tactics like this legal why anyone would bet on it belies logic, Vettel obviously has a competitive spirit

Webber must feel about F1 the same way as Casey Stoner did about MotoGP. Completely disillusioned.

I'm a bit confused about it, because if you deliberately don't try to win, then that's somewhat match fixing.

it isn't quite 'match fixing' or 'race fixing' in this case it is 'team driving' where in this case the plan when they were first & second was to ease to make sure the cars were safe & had plenty of fuel to finish, it is a bizzare rule in a competitive sport & as i said earlier if a horse trainer had two horses in a race & one was obviously (has to be proved) out helping the other one to win, that trainer, jockey or driver would be fined & suspended heavily, yet in Grand Prix racing it is the norm , i just don't get it & that is why i don't watch it

Read at your leisure:

Some of these rules may affect team strategy. I believe Webber was told to cruise in a lower gear to preserve the engine for the next race?

Either way, not even the Red Bull team bosses seemed too happy about it.
I understand both sides of the coin - there may be team rules, but you want to win every race you can too.

Re: Grand Prix
This is the very reason I would NEVER bet on a grand prix race. This happened a few years ago here in Australia when a certain driver slowed right down in the last few laps to let a team mate over take because of team rules and let him win.
I do know of a few people who had money on the driver that slowed down and deliberately lost because of these "team rules". They were not happy

Re: Grand Prix
Plain and simple, it is cheating/match fixing, or whatever you want to call it.
If a player deliberately kicks a behind, or a bowler bowls a no-ball on purpose, this is knowingly trying not to win. This is against the rules.
If a driver in a race makes a conscious decision not to try and win, then that is cheating.
