If i remember rightly, back in the early days of one day cricket, there was a similar score with Australia beating the West Indies, they came back out and played another shorter game ( might have been a 25 over game for no points ) to keep the fans happy.

there was a game around a decade ago at the Adelaide Oval involving Sri Lanka, (i presume with Australia but not 100% on that), the game was over by 4.30pm so the ACB (as it was) along with the players decided to play another game after the scheduled tea break for the patrons that were there

i know this wouldn't have made a difference today but why do teams want to bat first in DAY games ? there is always too much moisture in pitches early on in a day at Australian grounds
