Re: The SANFL competition
- Close up to the action
- Proud history of the comp, all it's clubs and the grounds
- Affordable
- Easy enough to access
- Players mingling with supporters
- Still of a high enough standard to be enjoyable

Westies occasionally win a premiership in it.

Without turning this into another debate about the existence of the AFL clubs in the SANFL, the comp has certainly become more even. 4 different sides winning the flag in those 5 years should provide hope for all clubs and supporters.

And two of those sides came from 9th and 10th to do it. Can't ask for a more unpredictable comp than that. Sort of the opposite to the EPL.

Think Sturt came from the bottom couple in 2015 before saluting in 2016 too?

Yes that is right.
It sort of makes you wonder if it less about a few decent recruits and more about coaching style / game plan and belief.

Easy to get to grounds all be it Burke and Wills like down south or Elizabeth. But they are making it easier to get there .
Large ovals easy to get room to see . Most grounds have Family / kid friendly areas . SANFL is a more friendly league and the club personal are great to talk to .

Re: The SANFL competition
Well done to the SANFL gurus that made the following 2 rules
The Out Of Bounds last touch rule
Limiting the interchange to a maximum of 60
It appears these 2 rulings have contributed to a better , more offensive spectacle
I prefer the rotations to drop even more and mostly get used to treat injuries, instead of a tactic

By offensive you mean more attacking
Hate american saying creeping into to Australian sport

Re: The SANFL competition
Also what I like about the SANFL , is that the Grand Final in this comp, is played in Adelaide, and not 'The G'
