I was a huge INXS fan, still love there music but the cover version by Grinspoon is very good, a little bit "heavier" than the original but pretty good version.

Doesn't matter which song gets #1 honours in the various greatest rock song of all time lists. It does vary over the years.

But this is definitely in the top #5. No debate from me.
Probably in my top 3.

Harrowing, entertaining, scary and sad it is an excellent read.

It's at the start of his 1975 live album.

No , have not heard Richie Blackmore singing Over the Rainbow
But I have heard Richie Blackmore with Rainbow

It wasn't sung, just an instrumental version at the very start of his live (Rainbow) concert.

Heavy metal as you would expect.

Grace is only 17
Gore was only 16 when she had a hit with this great great song

Leslie Gore died earlier this year
If Grace ends up anywhere near as good as Gore, she will make it BIG time
